Looking for an elegant shiraz that doesn’t knock you out? We have you covered. Keeping with the vintage of 2017, and Margaret River’s coastal climate, this Shiraz is gentle and supple.
This wine was treated gently from the start, entirely made from a single vineyard in central Margaret River. Grapes were destemmed but not crushed, then left to cold soak for three days. After fermentation, the wine was matured in seasoned French oak barrels for 14 months.
You’ll see a red garnet tinge in the glass. On the nose there are notes of blue fruits, dried tea leaves, and some spicy meatiness. The palate features vibrant blueberry and black currant notes, with some liquorice and white pepper, finishing with balanced acidity.
